1 Who owns the names and images
All brand names, logos, product names and product images shown on this website are the trademarks or copyright of their respective owners. The brands we distribute are listed in section 4.
2 How we use them
We use these names, logos and images only to identify the products we distribute, so that buyers can find, compare and enquire about them. Their use does not mean that the owner sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with this website, except for the authorised distributor status described below.
3 Authorised distributor status
D.M. Distributors is an authorised distributor of the brands listed on this website, for the products and territory covered by each brand's appointment. The scope of each appointment differs by brand and by product line. The product lines we supply for each brand are on its page under brands.
- Being an authorised distributor does not make us a brand's agent, employee or representative, and we cannot speak for the brand.
- We stop using a brand's name and marks if our authorisation for that brand ends.
- To check that a product is genuine, or that we are authorised for a brand, read genuine products or ask the brand.

The 41 brands we distribute are listed below. Each name is a trademark or trade name of its owner and links to the brand's page on this website.
5 Our own names and logo
D.M. Distributors, Datamation and the D.M. Distributors logo are our names and marks. Please do not use them without our written permission.
6 Using brand names and images from this website
You may refer to a brand by name to identify its products, for example when you describe what you supply or install, as long as you do not suggest that the brand endorses you, or that you are its authorised distributor when you are not.
Logos, product images and documents are the owners' property. If you need them to promote a brand's products, ask the brand, or ask our sales desk to put you in touch. Buying from us does not give you a licence to a brand's marks.
7 Genuine products
We supply products through the brands' authorised channels. If you suspect a counterfeit product sold in our name, or want to confirm that a product is genuine, contact the sales desk with the invoice number and photos of the product and its serial number label. The genuine products page explains how to check.
8 Notices from rights holders
If you own a trademark, copyright or other right in something on this website and believe we have used it wrongly, write to our Grievance Officer. Please include:
- your name, your organisation and your contact details;
- a description of the right, and proof that it is yours or that you act for the owner;
- the page address where the material appears;
- what you want us to do; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.

We acknowledge notices as set out on the grievance redressal page. We review each one, and we correct or remove material where the claim is justified. We respond to notices under the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable law.
